I love Groupons! My friend had a groupon for a Murder Mystery Dinner for tonight. I got to tag along and it was super-fun! It was a 50′s prom theme so we got to dress up. Any occasion to break out the false eyelashes is OK by me! Stay tuned for some fun projects for this party…

Search For Coupon Codes
I love coupon codes! When buying online, I always google coupon discount codes for the site I am purchasing from, if I don’t have one already. Most of the time I find something! I wanted some capiz lotus candle holders and found the best deal at Luna Bazzar. I looked for a coupon code and got an extra 5% off. Not much, but every little bit helps!
I Love Coupons – Free Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt!
I love coupons! In my church bulletin (which I also design and edit as part of my day job) there is a coupon for buy one, get one free Menchie’s frozen yogurt. This was my first Menchie’s! It was super-yummy, low carb, Angel Food Cake flavor. Mmmmmm!

It would be very easy to go crazy with the toppings, but it tasted great without anything added. BOGO Fro-Yo! It’s the way to go!
A Bargain Dilemma?
Back in November, I was so over the moon happy with the .99 wine glasses I found just in time for Thanksgiving. I bought them, and was grateful to have found them, but now…I found some I like even better. What to do? A bargain isn’t a bargain if you don’t really need it. Or, well, have space for it. It reminds me of a recent episode of the Kardashians when Kourtney starts clipping coupons and buying all kinds of stuff she doesn’t need just because she has a coupon for it. Oh gosh. Here is my dilemma glass:
It is the same brand, Libbey Glass, at the same price. Libbey Glass is fantastic, restaurant quality, and extremely durable. I love this style though. It is perfect for red as well as white wine. And it feels so nice in your hand! If only bigger cabinets were an option…. <sigh>
I Love Coupons!
Coupons are an excellent way to save money, everyone knows that! However, some discipline is required, in order to avoid falling into the trap of buying stuff you don’t really need. Just because you have a coupon doesn’t mean it is a bargain. It’s not if you don’t really need it. But if you can find coupons for the things you were going to buy anyways, it is a total win-win! I look for coupons for places I frequent, such as Michaels, Ulta, Bev-Mo, etc. I recently decided to get organized and keep all of my coupons and gift cards in a pretty checkbook cover that I wasn’t using. The system is working great, if I clip a coupon and I haven’t used the old one I toss (or rather recycle) the old one and replace it with the new one. I also try to plan my projects so that more costly items, like spray paint, are always purchased with a coupon – even if I have to go back the next week to get the rest of the supplies. So far, so great!
Online Discounts Rock!
Before you head to a store, check for an online discount! I had some Christmas shopping to do tonight. Before heading out, I checked the online ad and found a coupon for an additional $10 off. So I got what I needed, on sale, and then got an additional ten bucks off for shopping on a Friday. I had to print out the coupon and bring it with me but it was so worth it! So check online before you head out to a store and you might be rewarded for the effort!
I Love Groupons!
I have gotten in on a couple of Groupons lately. It is a Bargain-ista way to try out a new place, enjoy a cocktail or two, and to relax knowing that there is a discount at the end of the rainbow. My friend had a Groupon for The Nose – a darling little wine bistro in Pasadena – that has a relaxed vibe and menu of palate-pleasing wines. The Nose features exquisite wines that you are unlikely to find in the supermarket or discount outlets. I loved the funky atmosphere with scented candles and hundreds of bottles of wine hanging on the wall! A great place to experience the pleasures and flavors of something new.
